Returning to the same location again and again can really be benefit to nature photographers. Yes, sometimes you end up posting several photos from that location but it's okay. The point really is to see how dramatic nature can change from day to day or in some cases minute by minute.
Well, I thought for sure I would write an article every day while shooting here in the Grand Teton National Park. Turns out exhaustion is a real thing for Nature Photographers. The latest I have slept here is 4am with the earliest at 2am so please forgive me for the lack of writing. Trust me, there is so much on the way.
If you are into nature photography you may have heard of an organization called NANPA. This is the North American Nature Photography Association. Make sure to take the time and consider joining them as there are several member benefit for avid nature photographers as well as those of us who host workshops and photography tours. It is a great way to network with like minded people as well as gaining access to webinars from industry professionals.
Thought you might want to see what is in the bag I am taking to the Grand Teton National Park this coming week. If you have any questions ask in the comments below.
Anyone can take photographs of chaos. It's easy, just point and shoot but as photographers it is our job to create order from chaos. The deconstruction of an images is a way for you to see what the photographer's thought process was at the time of the capture. Take a moment to study the image itself before moving to the photograph which contains the explanation.
With Social Media becoming less and less reliable as a means of communication the Nature Photography Show will start producing monthly newsletters. These will contain a summary of what's been going on with regards to the Show as well as list any up and coming events we want would like you to know about. Of course we will still keep posting to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Vero.
Now, I know we all get spammed a lot these days so the intent is to keep these to a minimum with typically only one per month. Should something significant come up then perhaps we will add in a second one but this would be rare.
If you would like to sign-up to receive the newsletters please do so below. The sign-up is also available on every page of the website at the very bottom.
