After returning from a trip to Jupiter Beach this past weekend I was excited to dig into the images. Last year I upgraded my computer and at the start of 2018 I began a fresh new Lightroom Catalog just to ensure I had the best experience editing.
My report is... Lightroom Classic CC is still painfully slow. Really??? YES, really!
Adobe has said again Lightroom CC's speed is their top priority and reports are coming out they are working with Intel to help speed up their processes for previews, developing, imports/exports, rendering adjustments made in the develop module and several others.
I don't know about the rest of you but there have been only minor improvements to performance since the original article was written. Check out the original post HERE. Still, Adobe says update 7.2 will see marked improvement for those who have multi-core machines and a good bit of RAM.
Adobe shared the results of their testing with DP review. You can check out their article HERE for more information.
When is 7.2 coming out? Who the heck knows....
What do you all think? Is it painful for you to finish your photos?
